About This Guide

Make the Next Money Decision Easier to Explain

Sales can look healthy while collections are late, supplier bills are approaching and the account balance tells only part of the story. This workbook helps you connect those questions without pretending they are the same number. Begin with the reporting boundary and source evidence, then examine what happened, what remains owed and which future assumptions need a closer look. Keep each explanation tied to a date and a defined measure.

Learn the Reasoning Behind the Calculation

The guide moves from practical principles to fictional worked cases, changed-input practice, explained responses, personal worksheets and action workshops. That sequence gives you a way to inspect a method before applying it to your own records. You can revisit a calculation, name its exclusions and decide which evidence is still missing. The cases are learning examples, not customer results, current quotations or recommended financial targets.

Connect Records With Cash and Collection Questions

Explore receipt classification, provider settlements, partial customer payments, credits, supplier commitments and reconciliation. The lessons distinguish sales, accounting profit, taxable income and available cash. Companion registers help organise document balances at a stated cutoff, while the cash log records actual movements. Allocations remain your responsibility: the registers are snapshots, and they do not automatically post to the cash log or create forecast collections.

Test Pricing Alongside Capacity and Timing

Work through markup versus margin, unit contribution, discounts, overhead coverage and the time a service actually consumes. A separate cash plan places expected receipts and payments into dated periods, carrying negative balances rather than inventing borrowing. These models support specific questions about the inputs you choose. They do not prove customer demand, calculate every cost or show whether cash runs short earlier inside a forecast period.

Turn a Review Into Evidence and Action

Later lessons examine management comparisons, financing questions, equipment decisions, the period close and a useful accountant handoff. The Review Log gives an action an owner, date and completion evidence. Organising prompts can help draft a boundary note, reconciliation or follow-up question from sanitised facts. Human checks remain essential: verify arithmetic, current requirements and the treatment appropriate to your actual entity and transaction before relying on an output.

Choose a Connected Learning and Planning Bundle

The English guide comes with a repeated practice extract, manual Excel trackers, a linked Google Sheets template and the same AI prompts in convenient formats. Keep your own private working copies and replace fictional records. The local Excel revision adds input and settled-balance safeguards that are not mirrored to the linked Sheet. Choose this for a repeatable management-learning routine; it is general education, with no independent professional manuscript review or full accounting-system claim.

What You Will Receive

The complete English Entrepreneur’s Finance Workbook; a practice-and-worksheet PDF extracting repeated main-book pages; manual Excel trackers with Money Overview, Cash Plan, Price Check, Cash Log, Receivables, Payables, Review Log and Prompt Library; a linked native Google Sheets template; the same AI prompts in PDF and TXT; cover artwork, QR, HTML resource page and START HERE. The local Excel revision has safeguards not mirrored to the linked Sheet. No fillable PDF forms, DOCX files, AI subscription, automatic bank feed or full accounting application is supplied.

What’s Inside

A Practical Business-Money Learning Route

Explore reporting boundaries, opening balances, source evidence, cash classifications, settlement deductions, credits, collections and supplier commitments. The lessons keep the basis and date of each figure visible, helping you recognise what a bank line, invoice or forecast can establish. This is management education for an Indian small-business context, rather than a statutory ledger or individual accounting opinion. Keep dated evidence and unresolved items visible throughout that review.

Worked Examples, Practice and Personal Worksheets

Each lesson connects a practical idea with a fictional case, changed-input exercise, explained response, personal worksheet and application workshop. Diagrams and native tables help you inspect the reasoning. The separate practice PDF repeats selected main-book practice, answer and worksheet pages for convenience. It does not add another set of unique lessons, and the PDFs are not fillable forms.

Actual Cash and Open-Document Trackers

Money Overview summarises a defined period and compares calculated cash with independently observed closing cash. Cash Log records actual receipts and payments. Receivables and Payables hold manually allocated current snapshots; Review Log records follow-up. These tabs do not automatically allocate transactions, update bank records or turn balances into forecast receipts. Rebuild allocations when the review cutoff changes.

Cash Timing and Price Assumption Models

Cash Plan carries manually entered receipts and outlays across consecutive periods, including negative balances and period-end funding gaps. Price Check compares entered selling price, variable cost, overhead, planned units and delivery hours. Its surplus excludes unentered costs, and capacity does not establish demand. Check within-period timing separately rather than relying only on a closing balance.

AI Prompts With an Explicit Human Check

The prompt PDF, copy-ready TXT and workbook Prompt Library contain the same organising prompts. Use sanitised facts to draft records, comparisons and questions, preserve missing information and verify every figure. They do not supply an AI subscription or make accounting decisions. Current rules, private records, permissions and individual treatment remain outside an unchecked generated response.

Companion Access and Setup Notes

The bundle includes Excel trackers, a native Google Sheets template link, cover artwork, QR, HTML resource page and START HERE. Excel and Sheets do not synchronise. The revised local workbook’s input and settled-balance changes are not mirrored to the linked baseline. The linked Sheet is viewable; sign in to a Google account and make a private copy to edit. Check behaviour in your intended spreadsheet application.

Who It’s For

  • Business Owners — Connect the cash position with customer balances, supplier commitments and the next decision. Use the lessons to identify the evidence behind a figure, then organise a review without treating the workbook as a substitute for complete accounts.
  • Service Providers — Examine pricing, preparation, revisions and delivery hours together. The worked methods help you question what a fee leaves after entered costs and which capacity assumptions still need checking before taking on more work.
  • Product Sellers — Review stock-related cash questions, selling units, contribution and supplier timing through the guide’s examples. Companion trackers support selected money records; they do not automate inventory valuation, replenishment or a complete product-cost system.
  • Finance Coordinators — Maintain a defined cash period and consistent document snapshots. Use source references, allocated amounts and review actions to prepare a clearer discussion, while retaining human responsibility for cutoffs, completeness and classification.
  • New Founders — Build a practical review habit while preparing questions for an accountant or appropriate adviser. Learn to separate facts, estimates and unresolved treatment instead of assigning a convenient category merely to make the report look finished.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this accounting software or personalised advice?

No. It is a general business-finance learning and management-planning bundle for an Indian small-business context. It does not replace double-entry accounting, statutory records, tax returns, payroll, inventory valuation or qualified individual advice. No independent professional manuscript review is claimed.

What files and resources are included?

Your download includes the main English guide, a repeated practice extract, Excel trackers, the same AI prompts in PDF and TXT, cover artwork, QR, HTML resources and START HERE. A linked native Google Sheets template is another tracker route. The workbook also includes the same Prompt Library.

Are the practice pages and cases additional unique content?

The separate practice PDF extracts selected practice, answer and personal-worksheet pages from the main book. Those pages are repeated for convenient separate use. All cases, figures and photographic-style models are fictional educational material rather than customer results or recommended targets.

Do the registers automatically link to the cash log and forecast?

No. Cash Log records actual events, Receivables and Payables are manually allocated snapshots through the review date, and Cash Plan uses separate timing assumptions. They do not automatically allocate receipts, post payments or populate forecast collections. Rebuild document allocations if the cutoff changes.

What does the cash plan show?

It carries entered forecast receipts and payments through consecutive seven-day periods after the review date. Negative closing balances remain as funding gaps without automatic borrowing. A nonnegative period end can still hide an earlier within-period shortage, so assess actual payment timing separately.

Does the pricing model calculate net profit or prove demand?

No. It calculates contribution, entered-overhead coverage, a limited surplus and delivery capacity from your assumptions. Owner pay, tax, finance and omitted costs remain excluded unless explicitly included on a consistent basis. Capacity and a valid break-even calculation do not establish customer demand or an earnings result.

Are Excel and Google Sheets identical and synchronised?

They do not synchronise. The linked native Sheet is available to view and copy. The local Excel revision adds text-input guards, document date checks and explicit settled-zero display that have not been mirrored to that Sheet. Sign in to a Google account to make a private copy. Check calculations and print settings in your intended application.

How should I use the AI prompts and PDF worksheets?

Use the same organising prompts from PDF, TXT or the workbook with sanitised facts, then verify every figure and current requirement. Do not submit credentials or confidential records. PDF worksheets provide writing space rather than fillable form fields. The prompts do not include an AI subscription or replace professional judgement.
